Samuel James - Singer / Songrocker
Samuel James is a West Virginia–born, Lexington-based singer-songwriter blending Americana storytelling with a modern, energetic edge he likes to call singer-songrocker. Performing since age 14, he’s played stages from Pennsylvania to Florida and opened for Philip Bowen, Trey Lewis, and Arlo McKinley.
He regularly performs unreleased demos in listening rooms and live shows, using real audience feedback while developing new material. His sound is often described as if John Mayer grew up in Appalachia: emotionally grounded songwriting with a contemporary edge built for both stripped-down sessions and full-band production.
